Our approach is to nurture sustainable, local pollinators making pure, raw honey
We try to use local suppliers and sources of equipment and information
Our hives are from Nick at Peak Hives in Tideswell and from Thornes
Our suits are from The Honey Pot in Long Eaton and Swienty
We use stainless steel and nylon honey extraction equipment that can be easily cleaned and reused.
We use recyclable glass jars from Freeman and Harding
We use a traditional smoker with locally sourced dried twigs and grasses if we need to keep .
Our hive stands are home hand-made from recycled wood.
We are members of the British Bee Keepers Association (BBKA)
We are also members of the Derbyshire Bee Keepers Association (DBKA)
Our hives are all registered on Bee Base.
